黄姚古镇景区位于广西贺州市昭平县东北部，距贺州市区60公里，景区面积3.2平方公里，岭南文化的世代传承与独特的峰丛山水景观完美融合，不经意地造就了黄姚古镇世外桃源般的生活气息。黄姚古镇发祥于宋朝开宝年间，经历了明代兴建和清代鼎盛，到抗战后期更成为广西革命指挥中心和广西民盟的发源地，如今是无数游客心之所向的梦境家园。
Huangyao Ancient Town Scenic Area is located in the northeast of Zhaoping County, Hezhou, Guangxi, 60 km from the urban area of Hezhou, covering an area of 3.2 km2. It perfectly integrates the inheritance of Lingnan culture with peak cluster landscape, to inadvertently create the paradise-like living atmosphere of Huangyao Ancient Town. The ancient town was originated in Kaibao Period of the Song Dynasty. It was further built in the Ming Dynasty, and was in a period of great prosperity in the Qing Dynasty. In the later period of the Anti-Japanese War, the ancient town had been developed into Guangxi Revolutionary Command Center, also regarded as the birthplace of Guangxi Democratic League. Now, it is the dream home of countless tourists.
古镇以典型的岩溶山水景观、神秘的龙文化崇拜、精巧的明清建筑、地道的广府民俗风情和光辉灿烂的革命史迹闻名远近。小桥流水、参天古榕、青石古街和楹联牌匾被称作“黄姚四绝”，堪称人文与自然的融合典范。
The ancient town is famous for its typical karst landscape, mysterious dragon culture worship, exquisite buildings of the Ming & Qing Dynasties, authentic Cantonese folk custom and brilliant revolutionary historical sites. Small bridges & flowing creeks, ancient towering banyan trees, ancient bluestone streets, and couplet plaques are reputed as “Four Wonders of Huangyao”, which is considered as the model combining culture with landscape.

Notice to Tourists
一、景区实行购票进入制，一人一票，不可重复使用。
1. The scenic area implements the ticket purchase & entry system. Each tourist shall hold one ticket. The ticket cannot be reused.
二、景区提倡文明游览，请勿跟随无证人员进入景区。请爱护景区内的花草树木，请勿随地吐痰，乱扔垃圾等不文明行为，严禁破坏景点，文物及游览设施等。
2. The scenic area advocates the civilized sightseeing. Please do not follow the unlicensed person to enter the scenic area. It is required to take care of flowers and plants in the scenic area. Uncivilized behaviors, such as spitting and littering, are prohibited. It is strictly forbidden to damage the scenic spots, cultural relics and tourist facilities.
三、请照顾好老人和小孩。在游览过程中，保管好自己的随身物品。
3. Please look after senior citizens and children. During the tour, take care of your belongings.
四、请您注意安全警示，遵守游览秩序，请勿攀爬、翻越安全防护栏；请勿进入非游览区游玩。
4. Please pay attention to safety warnings, and observe the sightseeing order; do not climb or cross over safety fences, or enter the non-tourist area.
五、严谨携带易燃易爆及有毒有害等危险物品进入景区。
5. Combustible & explosive goods, poisonous & harmful materials, and other dangerous substances are prohibited in the scenic area.
六、请将车辆停放到指定地点并按规定交纳停车费。
